The flavours and cooking styles used all over the world will be brought together in true harmony to bring you a dining experience unavailable else where.


Our concept simply focuses on letting the food speak for itself. Haar will host some of the best produce from across the British Isles with little touches and nuances from Europe and further afield. Flavours and cooking styles from all over the world will be brought together in true harmony to bring you a dining experience unavailable elsewhere in St Andrews. 

The food combined with a re-imagined fine dining experience creates a more relaxed environment, this in turn heroes the food, the tastes and the incredible produce used. Above all we want our guests to have fun and enjoy the moments and memories created whilst dining with us.

DEAN BANKS

DIRECTOR

Dean Banks’ experience is vastly above his years, his skill and ability to craft dishes with a fusion of cooking styles and flavour profiles from around the globe is incredible. He has been a chef since the age of 15 and his career has seen him travel to over 40 countries, this really shows in what comes out of the kitchen at Haar.

GENERAL MANAGER

Ruairi Mitchell joins Haar as General Manager. Ruairi has worked in the local area for most of his career and has set up several popular restaurants. He is a well driven individual which matches really well with Deans drive in business and food.

PRIVATE DINING & CHEFS TABLE

For a behind the scene dining experience, the chefs table offers an intimate overview of the goings-on inside the kitchen. Our Chefs table is situated directly opposite the Kitchen's hatch and you will be able to watch your chosen dishes be called out, prepared and then delivered to you by one of our talented chefs.

We also offer a comfortable private dining room space which can seat up to 12 guests. This room can be booked for parties of 8 or more, who can dine from our bespoke tasting menu with world-class wines.
